It is important that a web site is built with disabled users in mind. The site will need to be coded and constructed so that people with disabilities can access the information and navigate the site easily.

Justnewmedia.com have many years experience in developing sites to the W3C Accessibility Guideline Standards. There are currently three levels. Any web site higher or equal to level one will be compliant with the DDA. There are two other levels, showing that a company is committed to users with disabilities. For any web site that provides information to the general public, it is an ethical choice to aim for at least level 3.

Accessibility is often accused of limiting the quality of visual design, but this is simply not the case. With a good understanding of the guidelines, an accessible site can be as visually impressive as any other.
